Director of Education

Juanita Luse, M.S., is a highly accomplished leader with an impressive track record in the education sector. As the Director of Education at Mind-State, Juanita has been an invaluable member of our team for the past three years, bringing her wealth of experience and expertise to drive our organization's success.

Prior to joining Mind-State, Juanita served as the interim president of Delta Technical College, a renowned technical college in Mississippi. During her more than four-year tenure as the Director of Education, Juanita made significant advancements in critical areas such as admissions, advancement, community collaboration, employee and constituent engagement, and matriculation. Her exceptional leadership played a pivotal role in fostering a culture of excellence and achievement at the college, and she continues to bring the same level of dedication to her role here at Mind-State.

Before her time at Delta Technical College, Juanita had a distinguished career as a public servant, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to serving the community. She holds a Master's degree in Family and Human Behavior from Arizona State University, as well as an undergraduate degree from Jackson State University. Juanita's expertise in her field has earned her widespread recognition, and she is often sought after as a speaker, delivering lectures on computer literacy in the post-COVID era at various campuses in the greater Jackson area. Her insights on leadership and higher education have made a lasting impact on those she has engaged with.
